Maisie Kendra Elaina Vicky Jessica Alyssa and Christine: Hi everybody
Today we would like to talk to you about Wireless communication

Kendra: Wireless communication could mean so much
Maisie: The main wireless communications are
Elaina: Emails external image cgon61l.jpg
Jessica: Telephones and cell phones external image recycle-your-cell-phone.jpg
Vicky and Christine (if Christine wants): The Internet

Maisie: And so much more
Some of this communication is SO complicated most people don’t know the answer to common questions that you would have thought were easy to answer
Elaina: I bet you didn’t know that Morse code is STILL betting texting in races!

Alyssa: But that isn’t important right know what lots of people want to know including us is “How are emails sent?”

Vicky & Christine: Emails or ‘Electronic Mail’ isn’t that complicated if you just want to send an email, you just click send but how does it get to your friends or family’s computers?
Alyssa: The internet is Emails.
Maisie: Email travels by using the infrastructure of the internet. The internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the internet protocol suite. It is a network of many networks, that is millions of private and public, academic, business and government networks, these are local and worldwide, they are all linked by using copper wires, fiber-optic cables, wireless connections, and other technologies. The internet carries an enormous collection of information resources and services. One of these services is electronic mail or as we call it email.

Jessica: Another question that really made us think was ‘When you Google something like dogs it has the 1st question and then the 2nd question and then the 3rd … And so on how do you get to have your website at the top?’
Kendra: Well the websites really CHEAT because Google only looks for key words
Elaina: lets take Club Penguin for example behind the playing box is 100’s possibly 1000’s of words like Club Penguin, Club, Penguins, Club P and allot more!

Kendra: Lots of people can really see how communication changes, your mum’s, dad’s, grandparent’s all can see that and remember life before COMPUTERS, EMAIL, AND CELL PHONES!!!!
Jessica: So this really made us think Communication is amazing now so what will it be like in a 10 years time 100 years time and even 1000 years time!

Kendra: I think in 10 years time there will be pocket sized computers
Jessica: I reckon the cell phones are going to be really tiny. Possibly they will only be a screen as the cell phone will be voice activated!
Maisie: Cell phones and possibly watches could be like MP3 players!

Elaina: In 100 years time we think cell phones will be in your brain.
(Kendra maybe you could then explain if people looked confused or you think they don’t get what you mean)

Elaina: When you use any kind of MP3 player you have to put in ear phones, well hopefully in 100 years time MP3 players will not need any kinds of plugs!
Jessica: Holograms could quite possibly follow you around like a mobile phone! (Except you won’t have to hold any sort of device)

Kendra: In 1000 years times we expect something HUGE to happen so maybe they will have Wireless Flying Cars Driven by Kids!
Maisie: Hover boards so people don’t have to walk but a device called Fat-attack stops you from becoming fat!
Jessica: Motorbikes with satellite signal so you can watch T.V see the weather and things!

Elaina: Thanks for listening
Jessica: We hope we have taught you something about the Wireless Communiaction!

QUESTIONS
How do emails travel to other computers?

Answers: : Email travels by using the infrastructure of the internet. The internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the internet protocol suite. It is a network of many networks, that is millions of private and public, academic, business and government networks, these are local and worldwide, they are all linked by using copper wires, fiber-optic cables, wireless connections, and other technologies. SERVERS, THOSE THEN SEND IT SO EG. HOTMAIL, GMAIL, XMAIL, SLINGSHOT SERVERS WHICH THEN GO ACROSS THE LINES CONNECTING TO THE SERVER TO THE SENDERS REQUEST THIS WILL THEN END UP IN THIER INBOX !
If you Google search how do websites get to the top of the page?

SOME WEBSITES ARE VERY SNEAKY as Google looks for keywords. For example club penguin , they may have invisible words all over the page like penguin about 1000 times.
if u looked up penguin on Google it would come to the top cause they are the site with the word penguin
the most.
This is a very sneaky cheat!

Things we use to communicate in the present:

external image computers.jpgComputers every house now has a computer
Cellphones they fit perfectly in your pocketexternal image cellphones3used_Full.jpg
external image Untitled-1_42460t.jpg Home phones also known as landlines (feel gratefull when you go out you have a phone!)

BUT back then in the olden days they had some really REALLY funny ways to communicate!
Bongo's Morse Code And really
big phones! (I wonder how much phones back then weighed?)
